Advanced Project Cycle Management Training
The residential training supported by Save the Children was held in March and April 2024 at Dhulikhel and Godavari to 35 Sub-Recipients (SRs) of the Global Fund. The five-days training focused on project, program, and portfolio management, project manager competence, project life cycle, triple constraints, project excellence, project complexity and risk management, agile practices, AI usage in PM profession, and sustainability planning with practical exercises in stakeholder analysis, log-frame, Gantt Chart, detailed implementation plan, MEAL, RACI, and Risk Matrix. The sessions were facilitated by seasoned PM practitioners and resource persons from government agencies, development and corporate sectors. The training met the objective to enhance the capacity of board members and program staff of CBOs, NGOs, and national networks in results-based management on project initiation, planning, implementation, M&E, and closing along with essential knowledge and skills on institutional development, organizational sustainability and growth in complex environments.
