This one-day workshop equips key concepts, approaches, and tools for Senior Change Sponsors and Executives for effectively managing organizational change. It’s led by two highly experienced international practitioners, Grzegorz Szalajko and Wioleta Kicman. Designed for the organizational leaders in mind, this workshop sheds light on the pivotal role of Change Sponsors and introduces other key roles crucial for driving impactful changes within organizations.

 

The workshop attendees shall learn what the key sources of resistance to change are, what factors influence them, and what proven strategies reduce the levels of resistance. GRZEGORZ SZALAJKO

Grzegorz is an internationally recognized expert in portfolio, program and project management. As a strategic advisor he regularly works with several global companies as well as with local market leaders in many industries.

 

Over 20 years as a project management professional, including over a decade of supporting organizations in major strategic initiatives and transformations as an advisor, allowed Grzegorz to build a deep insight on how organizations work. That’s why he focuses on systemic effects that shape the way people and entire organizations behave.

 

He is a lead editor of the global project evaluation standard Project Excellence Baseline published by IPMA and a co-author of the Standard for Risk Management in Portfolios, Programs and Projects published by PMI. He also contributed to several other international standards. In addition, he is a lecturer in several international MBA and Executive MBA programs, and a valued speaker regularly invited to participate in national and international events in the field of management. He’s also been awarded many times for his contribution to the project management profession.

 

He holds master’s degrees in Computer Science and Sociology. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), International Certified Coach (ICC), Project Excellence Baseline Professional, Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is also an honorary member of the Project Management Association of Nepal.

 

Wioleta Kicman

Wioleta is an Organizational Change Management (OCM) specialist, dedicated to supporting organizations and individuals in successfully navigating change. She serves as a Leadership Coach and Mentor for organizational Leaders, as well as for Project and Change Managers.

 

Over a decade of experience delivering business change and transformation initiatives in public and private sector, gives Wioleta a unique perspective on human behavior and factors that influence it. That’s why in her work she focuses on the people side of business change to ensure organizational readiness to adopt new ways of working.

 

As an active change practitioner, Wioleta delivered projects for NHS, Transport for London, EY, Becton Dickinson, UK local authorities as well as a leading global clinical research organization (CRO).

 

She was a member of the Program Council for the 18th International Congress by PMI Poland Chapter in 2023. She regularly speaks at conferences and seminars on topics such as resistance to change, the psychology of change, communication, and leadership.

 

Wioleta holds two master’s degrees: in Public Health and in Psychology. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Change Management Practitioner, Agile Change Agent (ACA), Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and Managing Successful Programs Practitioner.
